On Saturday, October 12, 1996 Association KLEM from the Netherlands presents the Ninth Annual KLEMdag Festival for electronic music.

For the KLEMdag 1996 we have a magnificent set of concerts: the day will start with a concert by the German amateur musician Andre Alvarez, who suprised us with his cassette Luna and who will present his first CD at the KLEMdag. Next are performances by the legendary group You (Udo Hanten and Albin Meskens), who just started making music together again, and by Peter Mergener (many of you wanted to see him play again at a KLEMdag). KLEMdag 1996 will end with the first European solo-concert by Paul Haslinger, who is not just well-known because he used to be a member of Tangerine Dream, but also for his special solo-work and his cooperation with the French group Lightwave. In other words: a program that will please any fan of electronic music!
In the Anna-auditorium there will be 2 mini-concerts by the most famous Polish e-musician, Wladyslaw Komendarek.
Concert attendees will find over 50 (!) stands with electronic music, including hard to find CDs, records and tapes.
The second hand market will feature electronic records, CDs and cassettes.
We will be showing videos with electronic music, clips and concerts.
An exhibition of cosmic paintings is planned
A very interesting lecture on Kraftwerk and a demonstration of a modular analog ARP Synthesizer will be held.
There will be an auction of rare material and a free raffle with several nice things to win.
The KLEMshop will open with many interesting items, like T-shirts, books and posters.
Several fanclubs for electronic music will be present.
Many well-known musicians and people from the music-press will be in attendance as our guests.
The KLEMdag is the worlds biggest annual festival for electronic music (In 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995 more than 1100 visitors).
Nijmegen is a city in the eastern Netherlands. 'De Vereeniging' is at the Keizer Karel Square, in the center of the city, a 5 minute walk from the train station. In 'De Vereeniging' food and drinks are available at fair prices.
The KLEMdag will start at 11:00 o'clock in the morning and ends just before midnight.

Ticketreservations can be made from june 1 until september 1, 1996. Tickets, reserved in advance, for the entire festival (over 12 hours), including all concerts, are 33 Guilders for members of Association KLEM and 36 Guilders for all others. At the entrance tickets will be 39 Guilders for everybody. You can reserve tickets by sending a Eurocheque in Guilders to the adress below. Because of the high costs the bank charges us, no other cheques can be accepted. The other possibility is to send cash money in a registered letter (1 German Mark = 1 Guilder, 1 US Dollar = 1.5 Guilders, 1 UK Pound = 2.2 Guilders). Please include your name, full adress and phone-number, and number of tickets you want. The tickets will be waiting for you at the entrance of 'De Vereeniging' on october 12.
